Frequently Asked Questions
Below is a list of questions that you might need to know with regards to the event we are holding on the 5th of November at Canford Park.
Q. Where do I get tickets?
A. Tickets can be purchased at local schools and St Peter's Hospice Shops or just turn up on the night and pay (subject to spaces).
Q. What times is the firework display?
A. The Gates open to get in at 6:15pm and the display will begin at 7:00pm. Remember to arrive early to get a decent viewing spot.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. Tickets purchased in advance are £3 for adults and children and the gate price is £5 for adults and £3 for children. Children are under 2 come for free.
Q. Can we bring our own fireworks?
A. Bringing along your own fireworks and sparklers is NOT allowed. You also cannot bring in alcohol or any other dangerous items.
Q. I am military trained so can I watch in a bush for free?
A. We do not allow anyone to watch the fireworks for free. The money you pay on camouflage to hide from us could be better spent on tickets going to a good cause.
Q. Do you have disabled parking?
A. No, we have no reserved or disabled parking facility at this event. We are recommending for this event that people walk or take public transport as we are promoting this as a local event. However once you are at the gate, access is flat and we will make sure wheelchair bound spectators have a good view.
Q. Can I buy food and drink?
A. We have a number of official food and drinks stalls that can be found once you are in Canford Park on the night. We advice against anyone from buying any items from street vendors outside of Canford Park as they will not be official food and drink sales staff and we cannot be responsible for any high prices or low health foods and quality products.
Q. Will you be selling glow sticks etc?
A. Any street vendor selling glow sticks etc outside Canford Park will not be official and we advise against you from buying such items as we cannot guarantee their safety or product standards and quality. We have a high quality supplier so buy from us at a reasonable price once you are inside the site.
Q. How long do the fireworks last?
A. The fireworks go on until we run out of matches. No really, the firework display will last around twenty minutes and will be carried out by a professional pyrotechnic company.
Q. Who are you putting this spectacular firework fiesta on for?
A. The display is for local people and so the proceeds will be going to the charities in the local Bristol area.
Q. Will you have death defying roller coasters?
A. We will not have any scary rides or death defying roller coasters.
Q. Will you have a bonfire?
No, We won't be burning piles of wood on a bonfire. It will pure and simply be a spectacular firework display only.
Q. If the event is cancelled will I be able to get a refund?
A. Due to the charitable nature of this event, we regret that no refunds will be given should this event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. For our full policy regarding admission and refunds, see Terms and Conditions.
